What the eBay model includes

Total eBay fees = Final value fee + Per-order fee + Optional international fee

eBay says the final value fee is charged as a percentage of the total amount of the sale plus a per-order fee. For many US categories, that means 13.6% up to the threshold bands plus a $0.40 per-order fee for orders above $10, and $0.30 at $10 or below. International fee drag can also apply in some cases.

Where sellers get caught
